“I have had the pleasure of working with Mike for the past 4 years. When I first met Mike you could tell he had great passion and drive! Being able to watch Mike in my first year break down the game and its difficulties and teach it in such a simple, but realistic way was remarkable. It almost seems that his brain and mind can work in slow motion and can pick up on the slightest things that will give you an edge or advantage in the game. When I’m training athletes, I now try to resemble everything he has taught me. Another thing that would amaze anyone that walks through the door is how well all the athletes respect and respond to Mike. He has a way of gaining everyone’s respect no matter the age level or talent level. Throughout the years, I have seen my personal game climb as well.

Just listening to Mike teaching other athletes, I was able to take tricks of the trade that he learned and is teaching and relay them into my own game at SCSU where we have made 3 straight mens NCAA hockey tournaments. The workouts that he puts together help all ages’ progress and if you put in the time you see results.”

“Both my boys have been working with Mike and A110 for a few years now and it’s given them both the chance to grow …not only physically and with their skill set on the ice, but..most importantly….with their confidence and the way they approach the game. Hockey is now a passion for the boys and I feel we have Mike and the crew at A110 to thank for that. Every time my little man jumps in the car…even after an exhausting workout, he’s smiling and happy. Thanks!!!”

“This was our first year attending A110 Athletics Summer Camp. Both of our daughter’s (age 10 and 7) and our entire 10U girls team attended. First, a little about our daughters’ improvement… The 7 year old benefitted with regards to strength in skating, puck handling and shooting. She will be a definite leader on her team this year. Our 10 year old grew the most during her time with A110. She went from a somewhat timid defender to a force to be reckoned with. She has started her fall season as a more confident and strong skater, skilled puck handler, powerful shooter (her snap shot is wicked) and more aggressive overall player. Thanks to Mike’s coaching and encouragement, she enters each practice and game with a positive attitude and always gives 110%. The entire girls 10U team has benefited as well. Their skating skills have improved significantly and their increased knowledge of the game is evident this season. We can also see a change in the overall attitude of the players… they have much more drive to succeed personally and as a team. We will definitely have our children attend A110 camps in the future.”
